It happens to us all... life is crazy busy and its so easy to get distracted or numb to Gods presence in our daily lives. In James 4:13-17 James will challenge us to avoid ignoring Gods presence or even worse to slip into a level of self-sufficiency that leads us in a dangerous direction.
