Monday Moments 5-10-21

When it comes to work I’ve been pretty consistent. I’ve let myself down more but, no matter how sick I’ve been I’ve shown up for the task.

It’s how you get ahead right? I call bull crap…

They call it work ethic. I now call it being a fool.

Why a fool? Well, let me tell you…

I’ve always thought of myself as a provider. This isn’t a gender specific thing but this point of this view is from me. Figure it out!

This ethic has prevented me from experiencing many family needs in the guise of wanting more through my ability to earn more.

I missed out on tons of stuff that I should not have. And that earning more thing didn’t pay a single bill getting that time back.

Sure wealth is necessary, but you have to smell the roses too.

It’s okay to miss the ball game or recital as long as there is a plan to make up for it.

But the last time I looked “someday” isn’t a day of the week! #dbrn
