The Ugly Duck

It is said that whoever tells a story, increases a point. If not, how can we draw attention to so many stories, which have been told many times over time? But what if instead of increasing one point, we started from another point, even if only in view, to tell a story that has already been revisited in many ways? This is what happens in this version of “The Ugly Duck”, a new theatrical production by the Trupe Investigativa Arroto Cênico.
This new version of “The Ugly Duck” is a free theatrical adaptation - signed jointly by Cesário Candhí, Beto Gaspari and Marcos Covask - in the form of a string from the eponymous short story by Hans Christian Andersen. Diving into the universe of popular culture and with an original soundtrack by Beto Gasapri, on stage the actors Carla Nunes, Cesário Candhí, Erick Galvão, Nancy Calixto and Ph Silva unfold in the roles of singers, musicians, storytellers and declaimers.
