The St. Louis Hawken 1981 delivers consistent dependability and accuracy. The 28" blued barrel has a 1 in 48" twist and features CVA's own patented breech plug system for a more reliable ignition and greater safety. The Ultra Grain Finish hardwood stock is beautifully decorated with a brass buttplate, patchbox, trigger guard, wedge plates, nose cap and thimbles.This is a sturdy gun. Steady aim is made possible by the Hawken style trigger guard, which allows the shooter to tighten his grip. Double set triggers allow for sensitive preset trigger pull for greater accuracy.
