When a skilled assassin (Anson Mount) accepts a new assignment from his mysterious mentor and boss, risk, deceit, and murder descend upon a sleepy country town (Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins). The methodical hit man must locate his mysterious mark from among many potential targets, including a local sheriff, given only where and when and a cryptic hint (David Morse).
