The Secret of the "~" Key in Adobe #Illustrator

Did you try to use the "~" key in Adobe Illustrator?
Apparently - it is a very awesome quick repetition
shortcut that you can use to make plants for example.
How to use it?
start drawing with the Line or Arc tool and hold the ""
down all the time. You'll notice that the lines have a
certain repetition mode.
