Dr. Harvey Risch is Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the Yale School of Public Health and Yale School of Medicine. Currently the efficacy percentage rate is 90+% but can fluctuate to a lot lower percentage dependent on age and risk factors. However, the transmissible percentage rate currently resides only between 50% to 60%. It is the transmissible rate that the medical community mainly focuses on in regards to slowing or stopping a pandemic.
