Assessing U.S. Troop Pullout From Afghanistan

The U-S is sending warplanes to Afghanistan to protect U-S and coalition forces as they withdraw from the country. According to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, six B-52 bombers and a dozen F-18 fighter jets have been deployed. This comes after a bomb exploded at a school in western Afghanistan on Monday, wounding 21 people. And there have been almost 300 attacks by the Taliban across the country in the last few days. Earlier I spoke with counterterrorism expert, Doctor Jeffrey Treistman (Treest-man), on whether there may be a violent resurgence of the Taliban.
