God is good all the time 187: Be Emptied to be Filled

What do you mean by that statement? There can be no way that you truly mean this. I have already given my life to God and that is all that needs to be done. Well yes you have gotten through the first step. But when you have a hard time trying to follow what He has for you. There are times that we want to hold onto things that we have yet...He just wants us to let Him show us what He has in store for us. He will sift us so that the things He says that we need He will give and the things that we need to give up He will replace. So we need to be emptied to be filled to the brim and overflowing with God's love and faith in Him
