Spain: Drone footage captures police chasing narco in orange grove in Seville
Drone images recorded on Saturday and released by the Guardia Civil on Tuesday show a fugitive member of the Los Lanas drug gang running from the police in an orange grove in La Algaba, a small town in the province of Seville.
Diego Chacon was arrested during the celebration of a family event. Footage shows Chacon escaping through an orange field before being arrested.
Spanish security forces had information that family members were celebrating a first communion party at a restaurant in La Algaba, near Seville.
Chacon had been on the run since the criminal gang he belonged to, Los Lanas, was dismantled in July during an operation in which 30 people were arrested and more than five tons of hashish, 2 kg of cocaine, and dozens of vehicles were seized.
