Is Eat Less, Exercise More the Right Advice?

When people are trying to lose weight or even just shed a little body fat, the standard advice is to take in less calories than you burn. This can mean workout harder and/or eat less - the conventional model of "dieting".

But does this strategy really work? Is there any science behind it?

There is actually a lot of research - but it doesn't necessarily align with this advice!
