President Macron says Napoleon 'is a part of us'

French President Emmanuel Macron paid tribute to Napoleon Bonaparte on Wednesday (May 5), commemorating at his tomb the bicentenary of the death of an emperor who overthrew the nascent Republic before expanding France's empire across Europe through bloody battles.
