24" Explosion Proof High Velocity Fan - 6500 CFM - 1/2 HP - Class I, Group D; Class II, Groups F & G
The Larson Electronics explosion proof fan is a high pressure, high volume unit that can be used to support active ventilation in hazardous work locations. This robust industrial fan is capable of circulating air at a rate of 6,500 cubic feet per minute (CFM). When it comes to explosion proof ratings, the machine may be used in facilities that handle Class I, Group D combustible substances, such as acetone, butane, gasoline and methanol; as well as Class II, Group F & G ignitable compounds, including coal, charcoal, flour, grain and wood.
Features: This hazardous area unit features a non-sparking cast aluminum propeller with a 24-inch diameter. It offers compatability with 115/230V 60 Hz voltages. Under the hood, the machine is powered by a 1/2 HP, fully enclosed explosion proof motor. This allows the blade to rotate up to 1,725 times per minute (RPM) at a rate of 6,500 CFM. During operation, the unit emits 80 decibels from a distance of 10 feet, which is equivalent to the sound of busy city traffic.
