Doing six large split units today, splits are strange beast cause the bigger they are, the less time we spend of them. Really! We hook on to the unit and bring the pressure down but not all the way down cause you dont want to waste time pulling nothing while the refrigerate is boiling. So you stop and move to the second, rinse and repert till all have had the majority of refrigerate remove, then do it all again. This time the unit has come up to a small pressure cause its had time to boil off, and you can get a good vacuum pull without the fight.
