Makino Pro6 1,000 ipm FINISHING

Makino's superior motion control technology: Super Geometric Intelligence, is now in it's 5th generation - SGI.5 is standard on all die & mould related milling machines. This video shows a multi fluted cutter getting about up to that 1,000 inch per minute FEED RATE in the cut.
While the finish you would see off this cut is not the JEWELRY that die/mould community veterans know a Makino can produce, this is a die detail and the finish was acceptable.....finishing it 4 times faster than what is typically expected on most shop floors in 2021
