Angel Taylor, 33, has become famous not only where she lives with her family in Bremerton, Washington, but around the world. Angel had her third pregnancy completely different from the previous two. Pregnant with Sullivan, she had gestational diabetes, in addition to the positive result for Group B streptococcus infection, not to mention the morning sickness that had not been experienced before. Despite being a risky pregnancy and knowing that she would not have any more children, Angel decided that she would make the most of this pregnancy and the experience of childbirth and Sullivan was eagerly awaited by his family. A week before Sullivan's due date, Angel was admitted to the hospital with very high blood pressure and was frightened when doctors said that Sullivan would have to come into the world a little earlier than expected. “I was in a panic, because I was not prepared. I was trying to stay calm and focus on the fact that we were in good hands, ”said Angel. When she was admitted, Angel was without dilation and the doctors, although they were inducing the delivery, were careful to make it a slow and safe process. Due to the internal scars from previous pregnancies, doctors considered it best to deliver by cesarean section. After four long days in labor, Angel Taylor gave birth and to the emotion of doctors, parents and the photographer who accompanied everything every minute, the baby was born smiling and with open arms. Photographer Laura Shockley, who was able to capture the exact moment when the baby was born, said she was nervous moments before, worried about witnessing that type of surgery, but that didn't stop her from taking the best photo she could, and the image went viral and moved the world. "I knew that scene was very special, but I didn't know it would be so incredible for other people too," said the photographer.
