When I Am Lifted Up

In John 12:32, Jesus says, “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” I get exactly what He means. There is something unusually compelling about His manner of death. It is even more moving than the many miracles. Many charlatans seek to mimic Christ’s miracles, yet none seek to emulate they way He sacrificed His life, and yet that is exactly what He instructs us to do.
