Spinning The First Mini Fairy spindle

This beautiful little spindle is the first Pocket Fairy ever turned on the lathe. For me, this is the first spindle following a specific pattern. It fits perfectly in a small pencil case and spins just right in a small glass bowl. It is designed loosely after a Russian and Phang style supported spindle.
I'm looking forward to making many more of these tiny Fairies from the pen blanks that came with my second-hand lathe. Wood turning has been a joy to learn and I'm gladly jumping in!
