Arturo Fuente Hemingway Classic Sungrown Cigar Review

This 7x48 stick features a dark brown firm and toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a perfect rolled foot, double cap and peppery tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium-full body flavors of a deep rich aged tobacco - very oily and smooth, slightly musty. The finish is long and oily carrying the same smooth tobacco over. The firs third shows super creamy smooth flavors of a deep, oily earth and coffee, holding the same through the long finish. Smoke output is excellent, on the thick side, with a perfect draw. The ash doesn't hold on very well surprisingly, dropping in 1" chunks. 20 minutes in just in to the 2nd third flavors ramp up to full body and get very creamy both in texture and flavor. It's dominated by a super creamy dark espresso that holds over through the finish which also adds a bit of black pepper taste and zing. The last third adds a nice sweet caramel but it's a light syrupy sweetness, blending very well and coming on at the end of the draw. Ending at 1 hour the last bit goes to a very very dry parched tobacco, dropping all the sweetness cream and coffee for just a smooth aged tobacco taste.
