There will be a slight chance of showers or a thunderstorms tonight. Temperatures fall into the mid 50s. A cold front moves south through the state and then stalls out across our viewing area. Some locations will be in the 80s in the south while Northwoods remain cooler with highs in the 60s. Lakeside areas will be the coolest due to breezy northeast winds. Showers and thunderstorms increase in coverage Sunday into Monday with some much needed rain as we are under some drought conditions. The outlooks for the beginning of May is calling for cooler than normal temperatures. We will be in the 50s to lower 60s all week with occasional chance of some rain showers. While we started off May feeling like the middle of summer, it will feel a lot cooler for the foreseeable future.
