The Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is a mid-engined supercar, designed and developed in Germany by the Volkswagen Group and manufactured in Molsheim, France, by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S.

The original version had a top speed of 407.12 km / h (252.97 mph). [3] The car of the decade (2001-2009) was chosen by the BBC television program, Top Gear. In 1998, the Volkswagen Group acquired the rights to use the Bugatti brand with the intention of revitalizing the brand. The name "Veyron" is a tribute to Bugatti's engineer, test driver and race co-driver, Pierre Veyron, who, along with co-driver Jean-Pierre Wimille, won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1939 driving a Bugatti .
