Audi A6 e-trong Concept Car First Look

Audi, A6 e-tron. is a fully electric luxury-class Sportback concept car.

The first production cars in the C- and later also B-segment will be relaunched with PPE technology, in late 2022.

The A6 etron concept uses electric power, based on the future PPE platform developed by Audi engineers. The Audi A6 etron, also embodies a a new design concept, and because of that it really has nothing in common with the current A6. The only thing simiilar are its dimensions. The Audi A6 etron is 4.96-meter-long, 1.96-meter-wide, and 1.44-meter-high. The body is designed as a Sportback. The style, the lines, the design, are a reflection of the current design culture at Audi.

Thej power for the Audi A6 e-tron concept’s drive technology – and that of all future PPE models – is the car's 800-volt charging technology. Like the Audi e-tron GT which already uses this technology, it ensures that the Audi A6 e-tron concept’s battery can be charged with up to 270 kW in a very short time at fast-charging stations.

In .just 10 minutes the batteries can be charged enough to permit trips up to 300 kilometers. In less than 25 minutes, you can charge the Audi A6 e-tron concept’s 100 kWh battery from 5 to 80 percent.

With an estimated total range of 700 kilometers Audi claims this A6 etron concept, once produced could easily be used as a primary vehicle for consumers, without compromise. From short tips to long vacation journey's the A6 etron, could be a suitable choice offering value similar to a conventional gasoline powered vehicle.

The Audi A6 e-tron concet accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than seven seconds. Top end models reduce the 0 to 100 kmh times to under four seconds.
