Advancing Always Moving Forward

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Paul tells us in this passage that there are three areas in your life that you should always be advancing.

1. Your walk “Walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing” their are three possibilities, you’re slipping backwards, your stuck, you’re moving forward?

Slipping backwards, headed for big trouble. fix it before God fixes it?

You’re as close to God as you want to be? Get rid of what is hindering you, people, places, or things?

2. Your fruit “Being fruitful in every good work” The key word here is “Every” are you producing good fruit in every aspect of your life?

Identify the areas in your life you are having trouble with, aka not producing fruit and why? My worst area is with my neighbors?

3. Your Knowledge “Increasing in the knowledge of God”

How much time do you invest in learning about God? Reading, watching videos, talking with others?

As compared to time wasted watching movies on social media etc?

We should all be advancing, moving forward in all three of these areas in our lives.
