Pick and easy song and whistle the first few bars over and over every day during the birds most active times. You will notice them tilting their head and listening. Eventually and usually only if the bird is a male, you will hear them whistle what sounds like your song. You can also google or youtube bird whistling specific songs and play those over and over. Be patient. It will come. When you think your bird is whistling your song, praise him or her, and sing/whistle along with them. They will get better and better and soon you will have him/her singing .
