Idaho Rejects Critical Race Theory!

Idaho is the latest state to reject the teaching of Critical Race Theory in public schools. With today's ALG minute, I'm Catherine Mortensen. The Idaho House passed a measure that specifically bans the teaching of any of ideas often found in critical race theory: That any sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin is inherently superior or inferior. That individuals should be adversely treated on the basis of their sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin. That individuals, by virtue of sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin, are inherently responsible for actions committed in the past by other members of the same sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin. The move places Idaho among a growing number of states rejecting the Biden administration's push for Critical Race Theory. While students should learn the truth about the evils of slavery, no one should ever be blamed or held responsible for the acts of others.Show more
