Rachel Fulton Brown is an associate professor of Medieval History at the University of Chicago and the author of the recent book, Mary and the Art of Prayer. We discuss typology of the Holy Virgin Mary and how it shows us the cosmic patterns of masculine and feminine interaction in the way the world lays itself out to us.
