Psalm Twenty-Two

I tend to constantly go back to Isaiah 53 as the most remarkable account of the crucifixion in all of Scripture because it was written 700 years before it occurred, but Psalm 22 is equally remarkable having been written another 300 years before that, long before crucifixion even existed. Let us read it and get the full impact of Christ’s cry from the cross, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
