To everybody arguing whether or not budgies are parrots, it's simple taxonomy. They belong to the Order of Psittaciformes (parrots), the same order Macaws and other "traditional" parrots.

Either way, they're smart, they're cute, they're fun size(!!!) and they're a riot to watch!
