It is mine. It does not belong to the collective.
I do not owe the collective my body, my sacrifice, or my health. That is my responsibility.
My body is not for sale to ensure your false perception of safety is upheld.
My body is not subservient to your ideas, your fantasies, or your opinions.
My body is mine, it is not for the collective to experiment on.
My body is real, it is tangible, and it will not be controlled by your fears or your fantasies.
I will not exchange physical reality for imagined possibility.
My body belongs to me, it does not belong to science.
The collective doesn’t need my body, so why does it want access to it? Why does the collective think it can penetrate my flesh against my will?
My children need my body, they need my hands to make their food, my arms to hold them, my breasts to nourish them. They need my heart to love them, and my whole body, mind, and spirit to protect them from tyranny and coercion.
My body is me. It is the only one I have. It is not selfish to claim it as my own.
My body is not a playground for the profit of corrupt billionaires.
My body will not be penetrated by the wilful ignorance of the collective.
I choose how to nourish and care for this body, and I decide who touches, who penetrates, and who does not.
I choose.
When saying these basic things about the one body we each have is controversial, we need to ask why on Earth that makes any sense.
Because it doesn’t.
