Leg 8: Deer Lodge City County (38S) to Missoula International (KMSO) | KGNB-PAJN | Prepar3d V5.1

This is leg number 8 of the trip from Granby, Colorado to Juneau, Alaska - in an A2A Cessna 172R, in the Lockheed Martin flight simulator program Prepar3d v5.1. This Cessna 172 was won in a raffle through an FSEconomy group called North Texas High Flyers on December 2nd, 2020, and I decided to document the nearly 1,700 mile trip from Colorado to Juneau.

This evening, although it's almost nighttime, is some of the best flying weather we have seen so far... so we must take advantage of it. I double-check the fluids, blow the dust off the engine with an air hose and inspect all the fittings, and put a nice coat of carnauba wax on the windshield in anticipation of the flight ahead.

We are about 600 miles in on this 1,700-mile journey, slowly making our way through the northwest United States. It's beautiful country up here and the scenery from Orbx is pretty highly detailed.

A note on the audio, this is the very first recorded flight on this new system, during testing I failed to test with the engine running, and it's sound is being piped into the same channel as my mike is, a simple mistake that is already fixed for the next video, the audio is not the best but I already landed and updated with FSEconomy that we are at Missoula, so we just have to live with it this time!
