Colorado Democrats to offer rewritten public option bill

Colorado Democrats will on Tuesday offer an amendment that re-writes the statewide public health insurance option so that it no longer includes a state-run option, but instead would force insurers to offer the standardized plan developed by the state and to cut their insurance costs, sponsors said Monday afternoon.
