It can be painted or diluted in some solvent or linseed oil according to the thickness that the artist wants to create. Its main features involve mixing colors and brightness, in addition to flexibility due to the slow drying of the paint, it also provides an excellent finish, allowing the painter to change his work if necessary. Even so, the use of oil paints still has some disadvantages, one of which is the darkening or yellowing of the canvas due, for example, to the excess of linseed oil over the years, in addition to environmental factors.
