Male and Female Jack Dempsey

Found a nice big male Jack Dempsey at a local aquarium shop. We added him to the 200 gallon tank and the female jack took to him immediately. To this day they're pretty much inseparable! Love the bright beautiful colors on both the male and female! Jack Dempsey's are an aggressive, predatory fish from South America that do well with other aggressive species from the region, I have them in a tank with a couple oscars and many African cichlids, but I wouldn't recommend this unless you have a really large aquarium and some good decor
