Seed balling is a technique used to introduce vegetation into the ground by tossing or dropping seed balls. Seed balls serve to reseed ecosystems in areas deserted by human action and other areas that need it. These balls are covered with clay and charcoal, which protects them from being eaten by insects and animals, thus they remain in the ground until the rainy season arrives when they will be stimulated for their subsequent germination and growth.
