China Has Expanded African Naval Base to Support Aircraft Carriers and Other Large PLA Navy Warships

The PLA Naval base in Djibouti is of strategic importance for the CCP. Not only is it a location for China to exert in influence in Africa, which they are looking to expand in other countries there as well, it is also one where they can project their navel power over the Suez Canal as well.
