Montreal’s New York Style Pizza Spot Is A Love Letter To Pizza Fans

On this episode of Good Bites Takeout, host Alex Melki is in the Montreal borough of Westmount for pizza. Gentile Pizza Parlour opened its doors in October of 2020, serving up massive 16 inch pies created by superstar pizza chef Dan Krystal. Inspired by pizza spots and cooking methods found across New York and Philadelphia, and channeling strong 80's vibes, Gentile is checking off all the right boxes.

Owner Anthony Gentile Jr. is the man responsible for Gentile Pizza Parlour's dedication to doing things "right." Alongside his pizzaiolo (Krystal), the duo have selected the best ingredients they can get their hands on (they spared no expense). The result is a beautiful pie serving as a reminder that pizza is so much more than fast food - when done right.
