Shine’ is a dedication to the legacy of the 11th century scientist Ibn Al-Haytham. ‘Shine' features on Sami Yusuf’s music score for Ahmed Salim's short film “1001 Inventions and the World of Ibn Al-Haytham” starring Omar Sharif, his final lead performance before his death in July 2015.

'Shine' supports a global Ibn Al-Haytham awareness campaign from 1001 Inventions in partnership with UNESCO that is part of United Nations proclaimed 'International Year of Light'.
