20210421 Legislative Logjam - The Daily Summation

How can ANYBODY look at the U.S. Congress and other such legislative bodies as the "model of efficiency?" They not only CAN'T typically do so, they SHOULDN'T WANT to do so.

Those bodies aren't meant to be some sort of "well oiled machine."

They're not intended to be some type of consortium of saviors.

Why is it that people seem intent on failing to realize this truth?

Legislative "logjams" are not only NOT a problem for me, they're INHERENT IN THE DESIGN OF THE SYSTEM and INTENTIONAL.

If it's easy to pass laws, the common man is SWAMPED with legislation (as are the courts, enforcement entities, and other regulatory authorities).

This is what I talk about on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
