Why does it seem that God does not hear our prayers? Why are we unhappy, stressed, anxious? Why do we not feel God, even though we fast and pray? It is all about you! A selection from Isaiah, read during the sixth hour on the sixth Wednesday of great Lent teaches us how to fast and when our fasting or any religious exercise will not “work”. (Isaiah 58: 1-11)
