Mum and Dad Elephants adorably Protect their Newly born Baby Elephant.

Being the largest land mammal, elephants have the longest gestation period of all animals at 22 months. After the birth, a calf will stay very close to its mother for the first few years, who will nurse her calf for around 4 years.
During this time, infant elephants are milk dependent and cannot live more than a few weeks without milk, although they do start to eat vegetation at just a few months of age.
