DESCRIPTION: My Dad​: Walter B. Hoye ( 1930-2012 ) || is a video tribute to my father. In 1968, My Dad​ became the Assistant Director of Public Relations for the San Diego Chargers. As the first Black American to hold this position in the National Football League ( NFL: http://bit.ly/1yVdEZV​ ), My Dad​ broke the "Color-Line". During his tenure with the NFL My Dad​ was chosen as one (1) of the Super Bowl Media Coordinators for four (4) of those years. My Dad​ loved his Lord Jesus Christ, his wife ( My Mother​ ) and his children. To this day, all of us miss him. I can still hear his voice and see his face. If I was "Half The Man" My Dad​ was, I'd be somebody. My Dad​ was, My Dad​ is, My Dad​ will always be one (1) of God's greatest blessings in my life.
