Day Hiking 🥾 to Mt LeConte Lodge with Kids!!!
Mt LeConte, and the LeConte Lodge, is the premier bucket list hike for most in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We have wanted to make this hike for some time and finally made it.
There are many trails and options to get to LeConte but Alum Cave Trail is the shortest at 10 miles round trip. This is the way we hiked and loved every minute......well almost!!
There are many areas of the trail that are steep and narrow. Keep your kids close and be prepared with traction in the colder months.
