The blarney stone cocktail recipe is a wonderful tasty Irish whiskey cocktail for any occation. The Blarney Stone cocktail is not just a cocktail for St Patricks Day.
2 ounces Irish whiskey
¼ ounce Cointreau
¼ ounce absinthe substitute (Pernod or anisette)
Dash of maraschino liqueur
Dash of Angostura bitters
lemon twist
Stir the liquid ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Run the lemon peel around the the rim, twist it over the drink, and drop it in.
