Whatever it Takes

Let it all go, whatever it takes
turn off the news, they’re mostly all fakes

The puppets that spew in front of the screen
repeating a script in scene after scene

They’re not real reporters, just repeat what they’re told
actors with parts, a performance being sold

It all sounds the same no matter the station
rinse and repeat the latest sensation

You are being fed tons of false information
manipulation abounds in every nation

All of the news is owned by a handful of thieves
who want you convinced of whatever conceives

There is an agenda of mass mind control
swaying opinions, the deceitful goal

So stop believing and for yourself you should think
does it make sense or does the story just stink

For it is just a story you are being told
woven together, it’s all bought and sold

Do your own research, scour around
is it just hype, or newsworthy and sound

Your head must be spinning, what to believe
is anything truthful, or a plot to deceive

Pull the plug, go out for a stroll
all the false info is taking its toll

Get some fresh air, breathe in life once more
your future awaits, who knows what is in store
