20210415 Assessing Value - The Daily Summation

I have to acknowledge that for a long time in my life, I DID NOT do a good job of assessing the value of various resources I had in my possession.

The result would be that I'd toss something out, that I ended up REALLY NEEDING.

It's a basic tenet of Conservatism in my opinion, to carefully weigh the value of things you have in your arsenal.

The trick is to let go of the things you don't need, while holding on to the ones you do.

It's also important to carefully weigh acquisition of new resources.

These are problems I see plaguing the United States in a MAJOR way at present (particularly when looking at the filibuster, and the idea of expanding the Supreme Court, as well as statehood for certain entities, and getting rid of the Electoral College, to be sure).

This is the discussion on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
