Constitutional awareness and standing your ground (with Andrei Murgescu)

Some liberties are like air. You don't know you have them (and, most importantly, you don't know you have to fiercely fight for them) until there's an attempt at curtailing them. And that's where Constitutions (at least the well-written ones) come in handy.

We went to Bucharest to attend a few protests and to also speak with like-minded people. We came back to Andrei one year after our first conversation and one day after a protest held in a rainy day to discuss Constitutional awareness in Romania and in general in the context of the illiberal measures adopted under the excuse of the Wuhan Flu.

This also provided a great opportunity to also discuss Andrei's upcoming project - a professional miniseries in English about the right to bear arms and standing one's ground. The miniseries aims to address the technicalities of guns but also the philosophy of the need to have the right to bear arms. Since last year, Andrei started One Seven Seven Six - a project both in Romanian and in English meant to bring a perspective... well.... à la 1776.
