Honey's Little Adventure at the Old Incinerator Plant In Midget Town was fun and interesting to explore with Rooted Expeditions. We had to walk a bit to get to our destination, an unsavory area of town and down an old railroad track which was lots of fun. We even climbed a hill or two getting there. The old Incinerator plant looked small, until you enter the building. It's a lot bigger than it appears from the front. The building is completely littered with graffiti and some of the talented artists have left their mark there! I'm not sure how old the building is or how long it has been out of operation but definitely was an interesting building to visit. One section of the building had bullet holes all throughout the walls on one side like it had been shot at from within the inside of the building. Rooted Expeditions found a small token outside that made for an interesting find. I would have to say what made the adventure so interesting was seeing the graffiti art left by some I would call artists, on well, practically everything there was to paint on, very creative places. I've learned to appreciate the art even in graffiti. Nearing the end of the adventure we came upon a beautiful find, one that we've never seen on our adventures and felt blessed to find!
