Got Bad News?

#1MinuteEncouragement When it rains, it pours. Ever heard that saying? Ever lived it out? I have. Wave, after wave of bad news comes in and your soul gets battered. I know at times such as these I can feel under it all. When you are “under it” do you withdraw from life and from God? I have done that, it doesn’t really help, it just makes you feel worse. The best thing is to activate your faith, not running from God, but running to God. We believe in God, now it is time to start believing God, trusting that He has a good plan. Activating our faith with a sacrifice of praise and being grateful for what we do have is a great way to take the focus off of bad news and help your soul to rest in God while He works out His purposes and goodness in our situations.
