The brown bears (Ursus arctos) is a type of bear. Living in the eastern regions of Eurasia and North America. Brown bears can weigh 130–700 kg (300–1500 pounds). Kodiac bear is one of the largest types of brown bear, which is about the size of a polar bear which has the most members in the family of bears which are the largest land predators. There are several subspecies of brown bear, including the Syrian brown bear, the Kodiak brown bear, the Alaska brown bear, the American grizzly bear and the Mexican brown bear.
