If you have followed news about China, the name Confucius Institute is probably no stranger to you. The fact is, the Confucius Institutes, or CI, are funded by Beijing, and they are very active. In the US we have about 65 on university campuses, and there are about 500 Confucius Classrooms in K-12 schools.
